Most people in the Belgian M&A sector will already have heard his name.

Maurits Arnauw joins Jurimesh as Head of M&A and Legal Innovation. And if you've ever been on the other side of a transaction where Liedekerke was counsel, there's a decent chance you've dealt with him.

Maurits spent more than eight years at Liedekerke, one of Belgium's largest and leading independent law firms, advising national and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital. Share deals, asset deals, joint ventures, complex corporate reorganisations: he's seen the full menu.

Next to advising clients, he founded Liedekerke's internal legal think tank, organised tech seminars, and assessed business cases for legal technology vendors. In other words: someone who's been thinking about where the legal industry is going for a long time, and decided to stop watching from the sidelines.

As Head of M&A and Legal Innovation, he'll help sharpen the product, refine Jurimesh's go-to-market, and bring the kind of transactional depth to client conversations that only comes from having actually lived through the deals.
